03/16/2025 Training Log – Conveyor Belt Chronicles: A Treadmill Test Drive

Today’s Plan

Workout Plan:

  • Easy Run: 40-50 minutes in Zone 2 (HR <137 bpm)

Fueling Plan:

Post-Run: Maurten Gel 100 before strength training

Pre-Workout:

¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

MCT oil-infused coffee (2 tbsp) on the way to Planet Fitness

During Workout: 232 calories per hour from a non-carb source (hydrated with Nuun throughout)

Execution & Reflections:

The treadmill met my new Altra Experience Flows today—and together, we had a 53-minute test drive. My trusty drumtrack kept me on point, starting at 145 BPM and incrementing by 1 BPM every 10 minutes. It was a smooth session, and best of all, I kept my HR mostly in Zone 2Yay me, yay drumtrack! 😆

Once I wrapped up my Conveyor Belt Run, I took a quick break, downed a Maurten Gel 100, and transitioned to a 30-minute leg and glute strength session.

Feeling strong, fueled, and ready to take on another week!
